Today's offering showcases this ladies vermeil Cartier Tank watch. It has an iconic tank case, classic buttercream Roman dial, gold epee hands, sapphire topped crown, and original mechical Cartier movement.
Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of cheaper quartz movements for many wristwatches, Cartier contracted with watch manufacturers to produce mechanical movements designed to last a lifetime. Using traditional watchmaking practices, these gifted craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch. It is all-original down to the buckle and presents as just short of perfect mint. Its dial is original and presents as mint to the naked eye. Its case is just short of mint with two small spots of wear on the left side near the case back.
